 Description;
This unusual square stemmed plant is a member of the mint family. The whole plant is covered in a gray-green hair that is very soft to the touch. Leaves are triangle shaped with sharp cut inlets in them. This plant has a pleasant mint smell unless you crush it and then the odder can be foul to us but not to cats.

Character; Cool, Moist, Bitter.

Constitutes;
Contains a variety of Volatile Oils. Citronellal, Gentenoil, and Cat roil. Tannins are also very prevalent.

Actions; Sedative, Antispasmodic, Tonic, Carminative.

Cultivation;
Flowers and Leaves are to be taken in June to September. Whole plant can be taken any time after the second year and is fully green and mature.

Parts Used; Whole Plant.

Uses; Colds, Calm upset stomach, Reduce Fever, Headache, Insomnia, and for Colic and Teething in small children.

Body Parts Affected; Mainly the nervous system, all of our body can be affected depending on preparation used.

Compatibles Herbs; For the stomach Fennel and Saffron. For colds and flu Elder, Yarrow, and Cayenne.

Cautions; To ingest to much may cause vomiting. All Herbs should be taken under the advise of an Herbalist or your Health Care provider.
